Advanced training course

General objectives:

  • Deepening the theoretical foundations of sexocorporel.
  • Developing the ability to observe and hear a person objectively.
  • Understanding clinical situations based on the logic of the system

Specific objectives:

Knowledge:

  • Integration of the connections and interactions between the different components of the model of sexual functionality

Physiological abilities:

  • Mastering the physical observation of the participants in the acquisition of sexocorporel skills, including Types of breathing, centering, posture, muscle tension, rhythms, movement amplitude, dissociation of body movements, double swing, etc.

Sexodynamic abilities:

  • To deepen the knowledge of the sexodynamic components: sexual desire, sexual desire, sexual attraction codes, sexual self-confidence, sexual intensity, sense of gender, sexual intrusiveness and receptivity.
  • To know the connection between the quality of the arousal function and the quality of personal and partner erotic experience.

Cognitive abilities:

  • Deepening scientific knowledge in this field (sexual development, sexual function, etc.)

The sexual therapeutic intervention:

  • Mastery of reading body language.- deepening of sexocorporel evaluation.
  • Deepening of the analysis of the physical structure of sexual tension, deriving intrapsychic meanings from the dynamics of the body.
  • Knowledge of the goals, contents, processes and steps of treatments.
  • Deepening of the sexual therapeutic techniques of the different sexocorporel treatments, from the sexual arousal function to the feeling of gender

Theoretical contents of the modules:

These correspond to the theory mentioned in the overview of the approach (above at 2) and students participate at the 2nd level as observers of participants at the 1st level. They work in small groups with a leader to learn to read body language and to listen objectively. In each module the students present their observations in these small groups. In the last module they present a summary of the development of the observed persons.

All sexual therapeutic work should take place under Sexocorporel supervision (supervisor approved by ISI).
