Sexocorporel in Portugal
On 19 and 20 October, an introductory workshop was held in Portugal for the first time. It was hosted by the Associação Para o Planeamento Da Família. The workshop in Lisbon was well attended, the participants got an appetite for more and who knows... maybe the Sexocorporel will also end up in Portugal!

Basics of the Sexocorporel
We refer to the inseparable connection body-brain / brain-body as the basic unit. Every perception, emotion and cognition (implicit body) has its mirror on the neurophysiological level (explicit body) and vice versa. We call this the body mirror.

Seminar «Vivre en Amour»
Take part in one of the “Vivre en Amour” seminars and learn more about sex and love. These workshops provide valuable tools for understanding romantic and sexual relationships. For couples or even singles.

The Sexocorporel training is divided into three training levels (basic course, advanced course and certification course). At each level seven modules are held in the form of weekend courses.

The Institute
Mission of the Institute
The institute was founded in 2004 to pass on and disseminate sexological knowledge based on sexocorporel. Target groups are health care professionals as well as the general public.
The goals of the institute
- The support and spreading of Sexocorporel
- Information and education of the public about human sexuality
- Education, teaching and research
- Cooperation and networking of clinical sexologists
- Promotion of cooperation with institutions
Activities of the institution
The Institute offers various activities for different target groups:
- sexual education for all people who want to improve their sexual skills.
- Workshops “Vivre an amour” (“Life in Love”/”Sex and Love”) for people who want to deepen their understanding of human sexuality.
- Training as “clinical sexologist ISI”.
- Further training for clinical sexologists of ISI and professionals of other professions.
